Collective Haul and Mini Reviews!

Hey guys so recently I've been spending more money than I should be (nothing new there) and I've purchased quite a few different make-up pieces!

The first product I'm going to tell you guys about is defiantly a new favourite of mine! It's the MaxFactor CC Colour Correcting Cream.  I have mine in the shade fair and it matches my pale skin so perfectly! The formation isn't orange at all which I feel is an ongoing problem with most drugstore foundations.  The formula is really like and actually allows my skin to breathe in comparison to regular foundation.  The thing I love about this is that it gives me exactly the same coverage as my foundation and it covers all my blemishes and any redness on my skin.  It also contains SPF which is a bonus!  Overall, I really love this product and I would defiantly recommend it to anyone!

The next product I am going to tell you guys about is the Garnier Anti-Dark Circles Roll On.  This little bundle of joy helps me so so much on morning when I just haven't got a lot of sleep! The concealer type formula helps cover and conceal any dark circles that may be lurking! The metal ball applicator soothes dull eyes and helps you feel more awake.  The product in general really brightens up the entire eye area and is my savour for early mornings!.

The next 4 products I'm going to blabber about are all lip products! So if you're not a lip person I do apologise! I recently picked up one of the new Loreal Splash Stains.  I got shade 102 (romy) which is a gorgeous baby doll pink! I love the feel on your lips when you apply this, it is genuinely like splashing your lips with water! The colours are very sheer and become stains fairly quickly.  The only thing I don't like about this product is that while its drying to a stain, the product becomes pretty sticky and tacky.  But if you don't mind a bit of stickyness, I would give this product a go! Wouldn't say its a revolutionary product though!

While I was picking up my CC cream at the MaxFactor counter, I noticed another new release from MaxFactor.  I purchased one of their Colour Elixir Giant Pen Sticks and I got mine in Subtle Coral (and yes this inspired my blog name) and I must say I absolutely love these! The colour is insanely beautiful and would compliment any skin tone! Its one of my favourite shades for SS13.  Something that must be noted would be that these go on pretty sheer but on the lips its almost glossy in the appearance! Also you will need a jumbo pencil sharpener to sharpen the pencil!

The next product is actually pretty similar (you might have noticed that many brands are releasing jumbo lip pens).  The other one I got was one of the No7 High Shine Lip Crayon in Delicate Pink.  Delicate Pink is a watermelon kinda shade. The only difference between this and the MaxFactor one is that the No7 one is chubbier and is twistable so you don't need a sharpener, which I defiantly prefer as its not so messy! I do love both of these and would highly recommend them!
No7 High Shine Lip Crayon - This is NOT the correct shade in picture, the right shade is delicate pink.
And finally I picked up 2 of the Born Lippy Lipbalms from The Body Shop.  I have them in Strawberry and Raspberry.  First of all, these things smell AMAZING.  Like no joke.  Best smelling things ever.  They're pretty moisturising on the lips as well and give just a hint of colour.  Absolutely love these and will certainly be picking up more!!!

And that's all for this make up haul! Thank you guys for reading and I'll speak to you all soon! xoxo
