Autumn Tag

Hey guys!

So I was recently tagged to do the Autumn Tag, and I grabbed the chance! I adore fall like most people and it's my favourite season. I'm not going to spend ages blabbing, I'm just going to get straight into the questions! 

 1. Favourite thing about Autumn? 

HOW CAN I EVEN CHOOSE? Potentially cardigans, I'm a huge cardigan fanatic. There is a section of my wardrobe decdicted to fluffy, cream, cozy cardigans.  If not cardigans, events. I love Halloween and bonfire night. They're both so exciting and fun!  Fall is such a great time to fill your social calender!

2. Favourite drink? 

 A Starbucks signature caramel hot chocolate! I've never actually tried the pumpkin spice ranges but I'm determind to try them.

3. Favourite scent/candle? 

Hmm...tricky tricky. I love apple cinnamon scents! I'm currently waiting for a bath and body works fall candles to come in so we will soon see...

4. Best lipstick? 

This may shock some of you guys (if you know how much of a lipstick fanatic I am) but I don't actually wear much lipstick in the fall. Because of the sudden change of weather, I NEED lipbalms.  I've really been loving baby lips in cherry me. 

5. Go to moisturiser? 

Simples light moisturiser. It's the only moisture I've actually stuck to.  It's so lovely and light but moisturises so well. 

6. Go to colours for the eyes? 

Bronzes, golds and cranberry shades. I love all of these colours all year round but they are particularly beautiful in fall. 

7. Favourite music or band/singer to listen to? 

I love all kinds of music! My favourite right now has been the 1975's new album. Sex, chocolate and menswear are my favourites from the album. I also love a good bit of swifty in the fall time. 

8. Favourite outfit to wear (i.e. boots & a scarf combo)? 

Already stated somewhere above, cream cardigans, leggings/jeggings and brown ridding boots. 

9. Autumn treat? 

I've treated myself to some bath and body works goodies (pumpkin cupcake and leaves mason jar candles and 5 pocketbacs) that should come soon. But usually in the fall I like to treat myself to some new boots. 

10. Favourite place to be? 

Either at home, curled up in bed watching a movie or out on bonfire night with my friends.  Again I love bonfire night, it's so lovely to be crowding around a bonfire with your friends wrapped up cozy, watching the firework displays at the local park.

The Lipstick Tag

Hey Everyone!

Unfortunately my laptop has completely broken so I have no clue what I'm going to do about blogging as I'm writing this part from my phone today! I had written this post the other day and was waiting to add pictures before I posted it today.  But because my laptop broke I only have a couple of photos I added before!  I'm hoping to get my laptop fixed soon but until then blogging may be slow!  Again I'm sorry but here's the post I had written!

Recently the lovely Mia from Mia Alice in Wonderland tagged me to do the lipstick tag.  I had actually never heard of it before but as a massive lipstick enthusiast, I was immediately intrigued.  Basically its a bunch of questions about your lippys, what's not to love?

How many lipsticks do you own?

I own 42 lipsticks...is that normal?  I wouldn't even say I have a lot.

What was your first ever lipstick?

My first ever lipstick was Carnation from Avon and I still love it!  I don't think I could of picked a better first lipstick.  It was affordable, the perfect pop of colour without being scary and had a lovely finish.

What is your most worn lipstick?

Ooh this is tough.  I would say my most worn lipstick is MAC Lovelorn.  Its such a pretty everyday shade and gives a nice colour without being OTT.  It feels really soft and light on the lips as well which is a bonus.

What is your favourite brand for lipstick?

I do love my MAC lippies but they're starting to creep up in price more and more each time I look at the website.  For 'drugstore' brands I love Revlon lipsticks, they give really nice pigmentation and have a really lovely formula.

What is your favourite finish?

I love MAC Creamsheens, I love how light they feel on the lips but they still give such a great colour.  So I suppose I like lipsticks with a bit of a gloss finish and shine with great pigmentation.

What is the last lip product your bought?

Maybelline's Baby Lips.  They recently came out in the UK and I just had to get them.

How many lip products do you currently have in your bag?

I'm actually really good with not overloading my bad with make up.  I only have a Baby Lips in my bag right now (peach kiss).  So only one.

What lipstick do you use to rock a red lip?

MAC's RiRi Woo.  Do I need to say more?  Its such a perfect red.  Because of my skin tone, I mostly suit blue-pinks, and RiRi Woo has blue undertones which makes it even more perfect for me.

How do you store your lipsticks?

I keep my lipsticks in the slightly overused but ever so classy acrylic storage containers.  I'm currently in the process of getting a new desk/vanity (which I will share with you all when I get it) and I'm so excited to have all of my lipsticks sitting pretty in the raked acrylic storage that I bought from eBay.

What lip products are you currently lusting over?

I am DYING to try one of the YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks.  They look so pretty and classy and all the shades are perfect.  However, I don't know if I can bare spending £24 on a lipstick...

Liebster Award Tag

Hey Everyone!

So today I have a post I really should have done a long time ago, but for some reason I never got around to it.  I am incredibly grateful for the fact I have been nominated for this award several times and I know for sure I haven't included everyone who has tagged me and for that I apologise.  I wish I had taken a list when people nominated me but I never expected so many of you to actually nominate me.  I asked everyone on twitter to remind me who nominated me and a few got back to me.  So a massive thank you to Vickie, Shannon, Abi and Amber.

If you have never heard of the Liebster Award before its basically a little recognition for blogs with under 200 followers.  As for the tag part of it, you answer the 11 questions by the person(s) who have tagged you and then create 11 new questions and tag 11 people to answer your questions (how many times can I say 11 and questions in one sentence?!) 

Instead of boring you all with 44 questions about myself I'm going to take a few questions from each tag mentioned above.  So without further ado, lets get stuck into the questions!

1. If you could have access to a celebrities make up and wardrobe, who's would it be and why?

- Oh this one is hard!! I'm stuck between Vanessa Hudgens and Kendall Jenner, but I think I would have to go with Kendall.  I love her style and would happily steal the contents of it.  Her make up always seems naturally flawless and is similar what I wear on a day-to-day basis.  

2. Fake tan or Au Natural?

- Natural 100%.  Because of my hair colour, fake tan just doesn't suit me at all and I look like a massive carrot.  Anyway I quite like being pale in an era of tanning, it makes you stand out a little bit.

3. Would you ever consider starting a YouTube channel?

- I have a YouTube channel but I've never posted anything.  I would consider doing videos but I am far too camera shy right now and would be petrified of judgy people...

4. What fashion trends do you love but would never wear?

- Double denim!  I love it but its far too risky and is super easy to get wrong.  I've seen people get it so wrong before and would hate to be part of that category. 

5. Have you ever met anyone through blogging that you'd really love to meet?

- I have 'met' (online) so many people that I would love to meet in person.  Every single person I have had a conversation with seems so lovely.   If we could all have a meet up together it would just be perfect!

6.  What is your favourite season of the year?

- This is another toughy.  I think I would have to go with Autumn.  I love everything about Autumn, from the fashion to the falling of the leaves.  All the best nights with friends happen in Autumn too, Bonfire night, Halloween, its perfect.

7.  Where is the nicest place you have ever been?

- I've only ever been away to a few places but the nicest in my opinion is Gran Canaria.  It was so beautiful.  I've been there 3 times and it was so lovely each time.

8. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

- Honestly I have no idea.  In 5 years I will be 22 turning 23 which is pretty scary.  Hopefully I will have finished my BA Honours Degree in Business and settling down into a career.  Hopefully living in my own place with a handsome fella and hopefully happy.

9. Which fashion designer, dead or alive, would you like to have dinner with and why?

- Coco Chanel.  Do I even need to justify this?

10.  What is your signature scent?

- Hollister Sprays, no particular one because I mix them up so much.  But any time I spray it my friends are like "hollister?" and look at me haha!

11. Describe yourself in three words. 

- Organised, energetic, fabulous.

Summer Sundays #4 (Summer Bucket List)

Hey Guys!

So if you guys didn't know Money Supermarket are currently holding a competition for bloggers, all you have to do is create one budget and one extravagant bucket list!  I'll link all of the details here and you can read all about it if you want to!  I also thought this would make a great post so you can all see what I'm wishing for.

Budget

1. The first thing on my budget list would be the HIMYM complete boxset! It is my favourite TV show and I have the first three series on my phone.  I would adore the box set just so I can sit and run through the complete story whenever I wanted.
2. Next would be Hollister Body Mists.  I have 4 of these already but they are all pretty close to finishing.  I would repurchase these again and again because I love them so so much.
3. I would also love to get a dressing table for my room!  I have been eyeing up the Micke desk from Ikea...
4. Baby lips!! If you are unaware Baby Lips are finally coming to the UK (about time Maybelline!) I already have 2 that I got from a friend who went to New York but I want to collect them all!!!!
5. A beanie.  And not just any beanie.  A mean girls quote beanie.  I either want the one shown above or the 'Fetch' one!  They're hilarious and adorable!

Extravagant

I actually have less on my extravagant list than I had expected.  At this particular moment in time there is only about 4 things I would really love.

1. I would 100% LOVE to go to LA.  It is on my genuine bucket list.  I want to do the full blown cringy tourist thing.  Everything from the Hollywood Sign, to Rodeo Drive shopping, to learning to surf on the Californian shores.
2. A CAR! Ideally a Fiat 500 convertible.  I know there is so many going around now but I have seriously wanted one since day 1 and I just think they are so adorable.  I would either get the baby blue or the white. 
3. A Canon T3i.  Or a similar fancy camera.  I really want a high quality camera so I can take better photos than iPhone photos for you all!  I would also consider youtube videos if I got a high quality camera...
4. WILDFOX WILDFOX WILDFOX.  I adore Wildfox.  SO much.  I would love a little shopping spree at one of their stores or even online!  I own one Wildfox shirt and it is the comfiest thing I have ever owned and I adore it.

How Much Is My Face Worth? (TAG)

Ever wondered how much your face costs?  Well I came across this really interesting tag post the other day and I just had to give it a go!  I've never actually counted up the cost of all the make up I wear on a daily basis and I thought that it could be a real eye opener into how much I actually spend on make up.  So lets start the tallying...

Face

Okay so my everyday face products include;

So purely on my face alone we have a total of £86.55.  This can not be true.  No way.  No freaking way.  I spend £86.55 on 8 products for my face.  Insanity.

My grande total for the price of my made up face is a whopping £182.56.

Beauty Blogger Tag - Get To Know Me

Hey Everyone!

I thought I'd do a bit of a different styled post today and do a tag! So I decided since I'm new to blogging a get-to-know-me type thingy would be a good idea! I came across this tag by adventuresinpolishland and thought I would give it a bash!


1.  Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
Neither really! My hairs extremely awkward and flicky and wavy and just a little bit wild.

2.  What is your natural hair colour?
Strawberry-Blonde (AKA posh ginger)

3.  Do you dye it yourself or do you go to a salon?
I don't currently dye my hair but I did when I was about 13-14 and I just did it myself.

4.  How often do you wash your hair?
I was my hair every second day.  I used to wash it everyday but it was just so bad for my hair I had to stop!

5.  Do you wear the same hair style everyday or do you change it?
I try and change it about! Usually the day I wash my hair I straighten it or curl it and the second day I use dry shampoo and have a ponytail, messy bun or some other form of updo.

6.  Do you do your own mani/pedi or do you go to a salon?
I usually just do my own unless I decide to treat myself! I've only been to a salon for my nails about 2 times in my entire life! Why bother going when you can just DIY it?

7. How often do you change your nail polish?
I usually change it whenever it starts to chip so usually 4-5 days ish? Depending on the polish..

8. Do you polish your toes in the winter, or just in the summer?
I polish my toes all year round.

9. How long does it take you to put on your make up?
Well it varies but my everyday make up takes about 15 minutes, but my "going out" make up or special occasion can take 30 minutes or so.

10. What do you do first, face or eyes?
Face.

11. Do you "collect" make up or only buy when you need?
Well to onlookers, I'm a collector, but in my opinion, I need it all...Especially when I blog to you guys about it!

12.  How often do you wear false eyelashes?
Very rarely, usually only at special events or parties.

13. Do you wear a full face of make up everyday?
All in all, pretty much.

14. Do you wear make up when your staying at home?
No I don't usually tend to bother if I'm spending the whole day in the house.

15. Will you leave the house without make up?
It depends on where I'm going but if I'm just heading to the local supermarket or whatever, sure.

16. How many high end products do you have?
Let me just count...around 32 give or take.

17. How often do you clean your make up brushes?
Not as often as I probably should.

18. Do you decide your OOTD every night or when you are getting dressed?
It changes depending on my mood/plans ect.

19. How often do you change your handbag?
Not very often to be honest, I have a black bag and a brown one and they're my most used and tend to go with every outfit.  So I tend to swap between these.  Of course I have other bags but these are the ones I swap the most.

20. What time do you get up and go to sleep?
Literally changes every single day but now I've left school roughly 9am and 12pm

21. How often and when do you work out?
Never haha! That sounds awful but I don't work out as such, I walk a lot though!

22. Left handed or Right handed?
Righty.

23. How tall are you?
5"7

24. Do you speak a foreign language?
Well I took French as a standard grade and got a 3..but we only really talked about recycling and our pen pal Jen-Pierre in France so its not very useful.  I can also say a sentence about teddy bears in Spanish.

25. How many pets do you have?
One little doggy, Jaffa, who is a scruffy jack russel terrier and probably the cutest dog alive (not being biased or anything).

26. How often are you on Blogger?
Pretty much everyday!

27. Do you read the comments posted on your blog?
Every one! And I reply to them all too!

28. Do you keep a list of products to try as you see other posts?
Yes I do! I have a little list on my Iphone that keeps reminding me what to pick up!

29. How did you come up with your blog name?
Well I had just been shopping and picked up a few different lip colours, I picked up a MaxFactor stick in 'Subtle Coral' and laughed a bit because my hairs a 'subtle coral' I suppose.

30. What kind of camera do you use? 
A Panasonic Lumix which I rarely use to be honest because I have lost the charger and yet to repurchase one.  So I often use my iphone 5.

31.  How often do you clean your house?
Thoroughly? About once a week.

32. What is your favourite colour?
Like a tealy, turquoise, duck egg blue.

33. What is your favourite beauty/fashion magazine?
Oh I have so many! Elle, Seventeen, Cosmopolitan, Look, Company.  Those types of things.

34. Do you swear?
Very rarely, although I do if I'm angry..

35. What are you doing for the rest of your day?
Well its 23.15 so getting ready for sleeping and probably eating and right now I'm bursting for a wee. (TMI!)
